After recognising a missing link in Townsville house and land options, successful long-term property investor Stephen Ellis of Ellis Developments decided to do something about it. State Government opened up ‘The Village’ 3.5km south of the Townsville central business district in 2013, testing the market with average lot sizes of 300sqm. This concept was snapped up by locals. Ellis Developments also entered the market in 2013, planning our own small-lot development at Railway Estate, consisting of eight houses with average lot sizes of 220sqm. This was a Master Builders industry award winner for Ellis Developments and we have not looked back.
